'Let Watercolour Paint Itself'
A 2-day watercolour workshop with Leanne Halls

Thurs 10th and Fri 11th October 2024,  9:30am to 3:30pm
Lady Franklin Gallery

(non-members are welcome to register)

Have you ever wanted to paint watercolours that are expressive and free, where the colours just glow? Have you experienced the pain of losing the light in your watercolours to be left with just muddy, dull colours? In this 2 day workshop Leanne will share with you all the important thing you need to know to avoid mud and paint wonderful watercolours that glow with light. We will use the nature of watercolour to mingle and merge paints to get beautiful atmospheric paintings. And you will apply the knowledge you learn to paint your own painting in any genre.

Leanne Halls is a well known and respected artist and teacher who has been finalist in the Glover Art Prize, Lloyd Rees Art Prize, Wrest Point Art Awards, Flow and Eutick Memorial Still Life Prize.
Leanne has a great effect on her students, as an artist and as a teacher and her work shops are highly regarded.
