Celebrating Tasmanian artists

The Art Society of Tasmania is devoted to providing encouragement, support and inspiration to artists, through exhibitions, workshops and social events.

Visit the Lady Franklin Gallery


Every Month the Art Society hosts a new exhibition at their home base gallery in Ancanthe Park, Lenah Valley. Visitors can view the creative work of emerging and established local artists.


The gallery is open every Saturday and Sunday, from 11am to 4pm. Free Entry.

Sign up for a Workshop


Workshops are an important part of the Art Society calendar, and the presenters come from within the ranks of the Art Society membership, from inter-state and sometimes overseas.


Members and non-members are welcome to participate, with members receiving a discount on the cost.
