Workshop Notes
Exploring Scratchboard
Learn all about the unique medium of scratchboard. Unlike drawing or painting, scratchboard is a fascinating two-dimensional subtractive art form that is both challenging and meditative.
The 2 day workshop will commence with some exercises to learn the marks and textures needed to create with scratchboard. We will then move on to scratching an image selected from 1 of 4 choices.
The 2 day workshop will cover off on:
- tools of the trade,
- transfer of image,
- mark making and techniques,
- Line art will be supplied
