Have A Go at Pattern with Pen & Ink
Description: The morning will be split into two time slots. Carol will show you the Zentangle method in the first 1½ hours, then Jenny will take over and let loose with random patterns.
The Zentangle method is an easy to learn, relaxing and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. Patterns are reduced to elemental strokes so a user of the Zentangle method can recreate that pattern (tangle) by repeating those strokes one at a time in a structured sequence.
In Patterns with Jenny, you will explore the random patterns and marks we find in nature. Using a pen and line you will create contours, the feeling of distance and the remarkable textures we see all around us.
You do not need to bring anything with you except your imagination, a little patience and a willingness to ‘have a go’.
